How to read this guide

This edition explains the screens observed during the account walkthrough and the modules described by the app’s own Field Guide. The walkthrough stopped after a later sign-in attempt returned “Login failed.” It is not a fully verified manual of every screen.

LabelWhat it means
Inspected screenThe interface and controls were observed. This does not mean every save, edit, export or calculation was tested.
Field Guide onlyThe app describes this feature, but its operational screen was not inspected. Guidance is conceptual, not a verified click-by-click procedure.
Partially inspectedThe screen or navigation was observed, but some entry fields or subsequent states remain unverified.

Examples throughout use a fictional business, DemoCo. They are teaching examples, not your company’s commitments or saved business data. Currency examples use INR for illustration; the application’s currency configuration was not verified.

CHAPTER 02

Your first working plan

A suggested setup sequence; complete it in focused sessions.

  1. Create your account. Open VisionBoard Pro registration. Enter your name, email and a new password, then follow the current verification prompt.
  2. Create a board. From the empty Dashboard, choose Create Your First Vision Board. Name it by business and planning period, for example “DemoCo 2026”.
  3. Walk through the nine setup steps. Capture the broad direction, financial targets, growth approach, offerings, systems, team, brand and lifestyle goals.
  4. Complete the Strategy Sheet. Clarify identity and direction first. Then define priorities, goals, revenue assumptions, responsibilities and risks.
  5. Make the plan measurable. Open Target Tracker. Add objectives with measurable key results and SMART goals with a deadline and owner.
  6. Assign accountability. Use FACe for business functions and PACe for processes. Document essential systems and SOPs.
  7. Plan execution and review. The Field Guide describes weekly actions, habits, risk tracking and monthly updates. Their detailed operational screens still require verification.
Planning advice: Start with a small number of meaningful goals. A full form is not evidence of a realistic plan. Keep assumptions visible and assign an owner to each measurable outcome.

  3. Select Log In →.
  4. If the form fails, read the displayed error. Use Forgot Password? if you need to recover access.
The last observed login attempt returned “Login failed.” That message alone does not establish whether the cause was credentials, server behavior or session restrictions.
Empty DashboardInspected screen

The starting screen before your first board exists.

  1. Select Create Your First Vision Board.
  2. Complete board setup.
  3. Return to the Dashboard after the board exists.

General planning formula: ROI = (benefit − cost) ÷ cost × 100%. This formula is explanatory; the app’s implementation was not inspected.

Exact form fields, action labels, save behavior and populated results remain unverified.

Revenue ModelField Guide only

Describe how the business earns money.

Suggested preparation

Prepare pricing, deal size, revenue streams and conversion assumptions.

How to use the idea

Use the inspected Strategy Sheet Revenue Model chapter for known fields; equivalence with this module is unverified.

Exact form fields, action labels, save behavior and populated results remain unverified.

KPI DashboardField Guide only

Review financial indicators.

Suggested preparation

Prepare definitions and time periods for each indicator.

How to use the idea

Confirm what populates each KPI in the live screen before treating it as an actual result.

Exact form fields, action labels, save behavior and populated results remain unverified.

AI AnalysisField Guide only

The app describes AI-generated financial insights.

Suggested preparation

Prepare the financial question and relevant, consistent figures.

How to use the idea

Review AI conclusions against the underlying numbers. Generation and data-sharing behavior were not tested.

Exact form fields, action labels, save behavior and populated results remain unverified.

CHAPTER 11

CHAPTER 12

Product Planning & progress

Two important workflows still needing a live walkthrough.

Product PlanningField Guide only

The app advertises a 10-step product-planning wizard and a one-page Product Canvas.

The sidebar link Product Planning was observed. The Field Guide says the wizard moves from problem definition to metrics. The exact ten screen names, required inputs, navigation controls and canvas output were not captured.

Prepare before opening it

  1. Define the customer problem and evidence that it matters.
  2. Identify who experiences the problem and who pays.
  3. Describe the proposed offering and its value.
  4. Prepare scope, commercial assumptions, launch constraints and success measures.
  5. Follow the live wizard’s actual steps; review the resulting canvas against your inputs.
These are suggested preparation tasks, not a reconstruction of the app’s ten steps.
Monthly Update — NumbersField Guide only

The Field Guide says monthly updates provide the data behind charts and analytics.

Prepare actual revenue, leads and customers for the reporting month. Use a consistent period and definition. The Field Guide refers to Progress → Monthly Update, but that navigation was not visible in the captured active-board sidebar. Its current location needs confirmation.

Monthly Update — ReflectionsField Guide only

Explain results with wins, obstacles and lessons.

Prepare the important wins, obstacles and changes needed for the next month. Tie commentary to outcomes rather than listing every activity.

Progress TrackerField Guide only

The Field Guide describes a historical list or timeline of monthly updates.

Review trends across multiple periods. A single good month is not proof of a repeatable result. The actual list view, editing, duplicate-month handling and chart behavior were not inspected.

Populated DashboardField Guide only

The Field Guide describes a board selector, priority signals, metric tiles, module-performance grid and Ask Patrick.

The empty Dashboard was inspected, but the populated version was not. The Field Guide describes it as read-only: update the underlying modules and monthly data rather than expecting to type directly into dashboard tiles.

CHAPTER 13

The page states that keys are encrypted before storage; that is a product claim, not an independently verified security assessment. Provider pricing, models and transmission behavior were not tested.
Account tabInspected screen

Choose appearance preferences and access account deletion.

Appearance shows a theme control. Danger Zone shows Delete Account with a statement that the account and all data are permanently deleted. Theme changes and deletion were not performed.

AI-suggestions buttonsPartially inspected

Many Strategy Sheet and module forms expose contextual AI assistance.

The button label identifies the section, such as “AI suggestions for Company Overview.” Configure your provider before attempting generation. Review suggestions before committing them as business plans.

Whether suggestions automatically fill fields, require approval, overwrite values or consume credits has not been verified.
